Keeping your phone number
Can I keep my current phone number when joining Mozillion?
Yes. When you decide to switch to Mozillion, ask for a PAC from your current provider by texting PAC to 65075. The code will be valid for 30 days and can be entered during the ordering process by ticking the option to keep your old number.
If you prefer, you can do this later once you have received your Mozillion SIM.
If your contract with your previous provider has already been cancelled, it will be up to your old provider to allow you to transfer the phone number when possible.
All Mozillion SIMs come with a temporary/new number which can be used until the number transfer completes — or if you decide to not transfer an existing phone number to Mozillion, you can choose to keep the new number.
If you decide to transfer your number later after you have received your order, you can simply login to mozillion.com/login and request to transfer your number within your Dashboard by going to Edit My Plan.
You will need to enter the number you want to transfer to Mozillion and a valid PAC code from your old provider. You can also choose the date you’d like the transfer to take place. Please note, number transfers do not happen on weekends or bank holidays.
What is a PAC code?
A PAC (Porting Authority Code) is a unique code linked to your phone number that lets you take your mobile number with you when you switch providers. Your old network will give you your PAC and you give it to your new provider. This instructs both providers to move your mobile number from your old provider to your new provider.
PACs are valid for 30 days so if they expire you will have to request a new one from your provider. You can do this by texting the word PAC to 65075 from the number you want the PAC code for.

How long does it take to transfer my mobile number?
What is the status of my number port, and why hasn’t it completed yet?
Number porting usually takes 1-2 working days (Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm) from when the transfer is requested, but sometimes it can take longer. Transfers do not happen on weekends or bank holidays, which may cause delays.
If your port is not completed yet, it could be due to:
- The request being made outside of working hours or on a weekend/bank holiday.
- Your old provider needing more time to release the number.
- If your contract with your previous provider has been cancelled, the transfer depends on their approval.
You can check and manage your number transfer by logging into your Mozillion Dashboard and review the transfer status. If you need further assistance, please contact our support team.
I’m an iPhone user, my port has completed but my temporary number is still showing on my phone for texts and calls?
Sometimes after a number transfer has completed, some Apple iPhones don’t update their settings with the number that has been transferred — this can affect things like texting, iMessage or FaceTime.
Turning the phone off and on, or putting it in and out of Airplane mode, sometimes resolves this; otherwise you may need to reset your Network Settings on the phone. To do this, follow these steps:
1. If you haven’t already, verify that you’re the owner of the number by adding it to your Apple ID security info:
- Go to Settings > [your name] > Sign-In & Security.
- Next to Email & Phone Numbers, tap Edit.
- Tap Add Email or Phone Number.
- Choose Add a Phone Number.
- Follow the prompts to add your number, then verify it by text or call.
2. Reset network settings:
- Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
- Enter your passcode.
- Wait for your phone to restart.
- Once it’s restarted, your new number should appear in Settings > Phone > My Number.

How do I cancel a number port that’s already in progress?
To cancel the transfer of your phone number with Mozillion, you would need to contact Mozillion customer service as soon as possible before the transfer completes.
Please provide your account details and explain that you want to cancel the number transfer. If the transfer has already completed, you may need to discuss next steps with the support team.
The wrong number got ported onto my SIM - can you fix it?
If you have two Mozillion SIM cards and accidentally ported the wrong phone number, you can fix this by initiating a new number transfer with the correct details. Here’s what to do:
- Get a new PAC code from your previous provider by texting PAC to 65075 from the phone number you want to transfer.
- Log in to your Mozillion Dashboard.
- Go to Manage plans and then go to Settings for the SIM with the wrong number.
- Enter the correct phone number and the new PAC code to request the number transfer.
- Select the date you want the transfer to take place (note that transfers do not happen on weekends or bank holidays).
- You can continue using the temporary/new number that came with your Mozillion SIM during the transfer process.
Note: Number transfers usually take 1-2 working days to complete.
My Mozillion number has been suspended or terminated, how do I reactivate it again?

If your number has been suspended:
- Contact Mozillion Customer Service.
- Pay any outstanding bills or top up your account if needed.

My data allowance hasn’t reset?
Your data allowance resets at the start of each billing period. If your data hasn’t reset, it could be because your billing period hasn’t started yet, or there may be an issue with your account.
To resolve this:
- Check your current billing period and plan status via your Mozillion Dashboard.
- Ensure your Data Plan is valid and hasn’t expired or been exhausted.
If you’re still experiencing issues, or want to check your remaining data or billing details, contact Mozillion customer support.
