How To Check iPad Battery Health

By James, Mozillion Team•

You can check the battery health of your iPad with this simple trick.

Follow these steps or watch our helpful video below.

  1. 1Open your settings app on your iPhone. If you tap battery in there, you'll see there is no way to check the actual battery health like there is on an iPhone, but don't worry we have a workaround for this.
  2. 2Scroll down and head to privacy and security.
  3. 3Scroll to the bottom until you see analytics and improvements, tap that and at the top make sure that the share iPad analytics is toggled on.
  4. 4Tap analytics data and you'll see several files here.
  5. 5Tap the one that says analytics along with a recent date
  6. 6Once in there you'll see a long block of text - don't worry we don't need to understand any of this. All you need to do is scroll right to the bottom and you'll see a last block of text in a paragraph at the bottom (this may be easier to understand if you watch the video below).
  7. 7Simply hold down to copy this text and get the entire last paragraph.
  8. 8Next, go to the home screen and head into your notes app.
  9. 9Paste the copied text into a note.
  10. 10Tap the three dots at the top and then tap find.
  11. 11Here we want to type the words (with no spaced): maximumcapacitypercent.
  12. 12The find feature will highlight the 'maximumcapacitypercent' words in the pasted paragraph and the number next to it is your battery health.
