By James, Mozillion Team•

Here's how to screen record on a Samsung Galaxy phone.

Follow these simple steps or watch our video below.

  1. 1Swipe down from the top and then swipe down again to view your full notifications panel.
  2. 2You'll see a pen icon at the top. Tap that to go into notification panel settings.
  3. 3Once you're there, tap the edit icon under the full tab on the right side where it says available buttons.
  4. 4Scroll sideways until you see screen recorder.
  5. 5Touch and hold and then drag the screen recorder button into your notification tray.
  6. 6Tap done and swipe up to go back to the home screen.
  7. 7Repeat the swipe from the top of the screen and another swipe again to get to the full notifications panel.
  8. 8You'll now see screen recorder button you added. Tap that to start a screen recording where you'll first get options for what sounds you also want to record.
  9. 9 You'll then see a 3 second countdown and the recording will start.
  10. 10On Samsung phones you'll get a toolbar on the top right to control the recording.
  11. 11Once you're finished recording tap the stop button on the top right of the screen.
  12. 12Swipe down on the home screen and you'll see a notification for the recording that has been created.
  13. 13Tap that notification to open it with your chosen photos app and you'll have your screen recording ready.
  14. 14You can then edit and crop it if needed.
