How To Save Battery Power on a Samsung Galaxy Phone

By James, Mozillion Team•

Here's how to enable power saving mode on your Samsung Galaxy phone.

Follow these simple steps or watch our handy video below.

  1. 1Swipe down from the top of the screen to get to the notification panel.
  2. 2Once you're there, tap the small gear icon to go to settings.
  3. 3In the settings page scroll down until you see battery, tap that and you'll see an option called power saving.
  4. 4In the power saving menu you'll see several options that can help save your battery usage.
  5. 5Samsung lets you customise each of these settings, such as disabling 5G.
  6. 6When you're happy with what's selected, hit the toggle at the top to turn on power saving mode.
  7. 7Swipe up to go to the home screen and pull down from the notification tray once, and then again to open it fully and you'll see the power saving option there too. This is useful if you want to quickly turn power saving mode on and off.
