How do I get going as a seller?

You just need to register with us, and give us your card and bank details. It’s a one-off process and only takes a couple of minutes. We look forward to welcoming you.

And how do I sell?

Our process is fully automated. We’ve done all the hard work gathering tech specs and professional pictures of your particular model. We’ve even written what’s special about it, with expert industry reviews.

So your bit couldn’t be simpler:

1. Go to our sell section. Select your phone’s make, model, colour and storage size.

2. Select your phone’s condition:

  • Good – A phone that has lived a little with moderate signs of use. Some cosmetic marks, light scratches, or possible small chips/scuffs on the body but definitely no cracks or dents. Fully tested and fully functional. Original manufacturer parts. Minimum 85% battery health.
  • Excellent – Minimal cosmetic marks but definitely no cracks or dents. Any light scratches/marks on the screen are not visible at arm’s length. Fully tested and fully functional. Original manufacturer parts. Minimum 85% battery health. 
  • Good As New – Fabulous. Hard to believe it’s not new. No cosmetic marks, scuffs, scratches, cracks or dents. Fully functional, complete with its original box and accessories. Battery health 99% minimum.
  • Brand New – literally never used. Not even once.

3. Decide whether you want to:

  • ‘Sell it Now’ by accepting the highest offer (if available) already in the market
  • Set an Asking Price and test the market

 

Do you have any rules I need to know?

We only sell the good stuff on Mozillion. This means we gain the trust of buyers and achieve the best prices for our sellers. So your phone:

  • must be in full working order with no cracked screens or dents
  • contain only the manufacturer’s genuine parts
  • needs to be described by you accurately in one of the categories above
  • must be yours to sell
  • once sold, must be despatched to us within 48 hours for inspection

NB. A £15 service charge may apply if we need to return your phone to you, due to unauthorised parts; an existing fault; an innacurate condition description; or if it isn’t received by us within 3 business days from selling it

Can my business sell phones on Mozillion?

Of course, provided they meet our standards above.

Do you verify the phones you sell?

Most definitely. Every phone offered for sale on Mozillion is first checked against the industry-standard CheckMEND lost/stolen database.

What does it cost to sell on Mozillion?

Mozillion keeps things simple for sellers.

We charge a flat fee of 12% capped at £120 on all phones sold with a value of £1000 and over.

Your selling fee includes your listing on the Mozillion site for 30 days and enhanced buyer confidence through:

  • Our lab’s 90-point inspection of your phone
  • Automated check against lost/stolen databases
  • Full data wipe using industry-leading security software
  • No post-sale obligations – once we approve your phone, there is nothing further for you to do
  • A 24 month warranty – at no cost to you

 

I’ve sold my phone on Mozillion. What do I need to do now?

Just a few technical things:

  • Back up any phone numbers and data you need from your phone
  • Then perform a factory reset to wipe your phone
  • Essential: remove all iCloud accounts, Samsung and Google accounts, passwords and PIN numbers
  • Hold onto all SIMs, SD cards and other accessories
  • Remove any case or screen protector
  • Take some photos / video of your phone for your own records

For additional security, we perform a further data wipe to professional standards during the inspection process

Your package to us must include:

  • The phone you’re selling, in well protected packaging
  • For Brand New and Good As New phones only: the box and original accessories

     

How do I send my phone to you?

Once you’ve sold your phone:

– You’ll receive an email from our couriers, DPD or Royal Mail. This will give you an address label for for your package, and details of nearby official drop-off points wher you can leave your package to be collected.

– Phones that sell have a shipping charges, including insurance, is £5.49
