Apple has officially lifted the curtain on the iPhone 17e, the newest addition to the more accessible side of its iPhone lineup. It follows last year\u2019s iPhone 16e<\/a>, the device that quietly replaced the long running iPhone SE and marked Apple\u2019s move toward offering a modern iPhone experience at a more approachable price point.<\/p>\n

Connectivity has been boosted thanks to Apple\u2019s new C1X modem, which Apple says is up to twice as fast as the C1 modem used previously. While not a headline spec, in real world use this translates to faster downloads, smoother streaming and fewer moments waiting for content to load.<\/p>\n

Wireless charging has also received a meaningful upgrade with the introduction of MagSafe support. The iPhone 17e can now charge wirelessly at up to 15W and works with Apple\u2019s full ecosystem of MagSafe accessories, including magnetic chargers, wallets and cases. The front glass now uses second generation Ceramic Shield, offering three times better scratch resistance than the previous generation and helping to reduce glare.
