Here's how to enable split screen mode on an iPad so you can display two apps at the same time on the screen.<\/p>\n

Follow these steps or watch the video below.<\/p>\n

  1. Choose two apps that you want to split screen with and that support this feature (most apps do). For this example we'll use the App Store and Safari apps.<\/li>\n
  2. Open one of these apps first as if you using it normally, then swipe up from the bottom to get to the dock and drag the second app over the top.<\/li>\n
  3. You'll see it opens overlaid on top of the first app initially.\u00a0 Tap the three dots at the top where you'll see a few options - for this we want to hit 'split view' where you'll then be able to choose whether you want this app on the left or on the right side of the screen.\u00a0 Tap either side and you then have both apps open in split screen mode.<\/li>\n
  4. You can also drag the divider in the middle to resize them to your liking.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
