The latest additions to Samsung’s A-series were first announced in March 2024<\/b>\u00a0<\/h2>\n

Its Samsung’s Galaxy S-series that often grab the tech news headlines, but their A-series are always welcome additions to the range as they often include many of the flagship models’ features but without the premium price point.<\/p>\n

This year’s Galaxy A55 and A35 are just that – mid-range priced phones with a bunch of cool camera and mobile tech found in some of Samsung’s higher-priced models.<\/p>\n

Samsung Knox Vault<\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the UK as the third most targeted country for cyber attacks, customers and phone manufacturers rightly have security as one of their top priorities. Samsung\u2019s answer to this is Knox Vault which, until now, was reserved for their flagship phones and Enterprise models. Now’s its available on the Galaxy A35 and A55.<\/p>\n

Knox Vault stores critical data such as PIN codes and passwords and also protects device encryption keys and users\u2019 private data on a secure chipset that is separate from the main one. This means that you are protected not just from pirate apps trying to read your data but also the physical theft of data as the Vault itself has its own passwords should you get your phone stolen. This anti-malware system is preinstalled on the Galaxy A55 and A35 so more customers can feel safer using Samsung phones.<\/p>\n

Samsung A33 and A55 Cameras<\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

With Samsung\u2019s goal of bringing the latest technologies to as many people as possible, the A55 and A35 have new photography capabilities inspired by Samsung\u2019s flagship devices. These capabilities include features like Optical Image Stabilisation to protect from photo blur as well as Video Digital Image Stabilisation (VDIS) to keep footage crisp when filming on the move or trying to track fast-moving subjects.<\/p>\n

On the Galaxy A55, Enhanced Nightography is also now included, meaning every photo, even in low light, can be a masterpiece. This is thanks to the advanced AI Image Signal Processing (ISP) included with the Galaxy A55 5G – you won’t find this feature on the more affordable Galaxy A35 5G.<\/p>\n

Samsung A33 and A55 <\/strong>Display<\/strong><\/h2>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

Both the A55 and the A35 include a 6.6 inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gaming. Samsung has also included its Vision Booster technology which keeps the screen looking good in all light conditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Samsung A33 and A55 Battery & Updates<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Samsung has kitted the A55 and the A35 with a huge 5,000mAh battery which, along with power efficiencies, means the user can expect two days of battery charge. They are also guaranteeing these phones will get the next four generations of Android operating system upgrades and five years of security updates which is a great boost to device longevity.<\/p>\n
